Rental Policies

  • Children are not allowed in the teachers supply room, office, or library!
  • All equipment in the safe room on the NE Corner of the gym and storage room in SE corner of the gym is free to use, however we do not allow hard balls (softballs, footballs, tennis balls hit with a racquet).
  • No wheels of any kind allowed in the gym.
  • Cleanup: It is the renter’s responsibility to leave the school as clean as you found it when you arrived.
  • Before leaving, please sweep the kitchen floor, dining area, and dry mop the gym if it has been used. (Wet mop any spills, etc. in gym) Check restrooms. (Flush toilets, empty trash, and wipe vanities.) Empty all trash into dumpster. Place clean trash bags in containers. 
  • Please be sure all doors are latched and locked.

  • Please check the reservation calendar before making any plans.  
  • When youth rent the gym, adult chaperones are required.  The chaperones should stay until the youth have left.
  • There will be no fee for the Montezuma youth for using the gym. If there is a meal served, please clean up completely.
  • Cleanup: Check restrooms. (Flush toilets, wipe vanity top and empty trash as needed). Dry mop the gym floor. If mud is tracked into gym, clean it up.
  • Please do not throw any balls in the gym that could easily dent the walls (footballs, softballs, tennis balls etc.). 
  • No wheels of any sort in the gym.
  • Youth is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the sports equipment in the gym including buying new when needed.
